Maximum kills per shot / super concentration of zombies

With PSN down, I just had to game solo and developed this method of super-concentrating zombies. Some game ago, I had a Thundergun in Round 20+, it was MotR and I managed to knock down every spawned zombie because they were all in the main blast radius of the Thundergun.

So this adds an additional or an alternative objective to sustainable gameplay - KO the most zombies with the least ammo, assuming that points are no longer an issue.

I suspect this is more important in the higher-order rounds when upgraded ammo is a lot weaker vs tougher zombies, so you need to push every Thundergun bolt to the max.

Shown here is a line of zombies following me into the theatre. I did a 'reverse-circuit' and headed to the stage. By the time I got to the stage, there was a long line of zombies, but by running a 'figure-8' using the stairs on either side of the podium, I can get all the zombies into one blast from your Thundergun, or in this case - a cooked grenade. I finished these guys off with the Bowie Knife as part of my points strategy.

Afterwards, you may need to run more 'reverse-circuits' to complete each round, or to get started on the new one.
*I put the claymores in the common spot that I do, facing toward the wall so that I can pick them up in a later round, presumably when I am low on ammo, but with this new strategy maybe I don't need these any more.

I believe you can complete each of rounds 4-18 with just two Thundergun shots, which means that you will not run out of Thundergun ammo because you use so little each round.

Using the upgraded M1911 (Mustang & Sally) also works instead of a grenade, but concentrating zombies like this delivers the most punch from a Thundergun.
